Located in the northwest part of Beijing, Shichahai is a famous scenic area that includes three lakes, surrounding places of historic interest and scenic beauty, and remnants of old-style local residences, Hutong and Courtyard. Shichahai consists of the following three lakes, which are Qianhai, Xihai and Houhai. In imperial times it was called the Riverbank.

With Beihai Lake becoming an imperial backgarden, some 20 temples were built in the area of Shichahai Lake. It was said that these temples were established for the convenience of women to leave the imperial families. "Cha" refers to a small temple while "shi" can mean "tens", hence the name of Shichahai.
Its history can be traced to as far back as the Jin Dynasty (1115 - 1234). During the Yuan Dynasty (1271 - 1368), it was the terminal point of the Great Canal, which was a main reason for its prosperity. In the period of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), when the channels ceased to be as smooth as they used to be, it changed from a bustling hub to a place of leisure where people could stroll around to admire the vast scenery or enjoy the cool shade under williow trees.
The greatest point of interest in it today is its residences, Hutong and Courtyard. Visiting Hutongs by pedicab has become a popular activity for visitors from China and abroad. The most famous is Jin Si Tao, which actually includes 18 hutongs and keeps the original layout. Another one is Skewed Tobacco Pouch Street (Yandai Xiejie), meaning an oblique street which looks like a long-stemmed pipe.
This street used to be a famous street selling long-stemmed pipes. In the east area, South Gong and Drum Lane (Nanluogu Xiang) is an interesting hutong renowned for its long history, culture, specialty stores and distinctive foods.
Around the lake there are also ten famous Taoist and Buddhist temples and several formal royal mansions and gardens. The most well known are the Prince Gong Mansion and the Prince Chun Mansion.
At night, Bar street becomes a good destination for many youngers. Compared with the hustling-bustling scenes during the daytime, Shichahai is quiet at night. The small bars here are exquisite although they don't have showy names.
They attract those people who know how to enjoy the tranquility of night.
Grey courtyard walls, lush and green willow trees, quiet water,...all this displays the generosity of this city. Different from other famous attractions in Beijing, Shichahai has its own features. Maybe it's not so well-known, but the scenery there never fail to make your trip regretful.

Halal food history can be traced back to the early stage of Tang Dynasty, when the trading activitieswere frequent between China and overseas countries, especially western countries. Yingshan Forest Park Tourism in Beijing

Yingshan Forest Park is such one kind of forest park that is closest to downtown area of Beijing City, located on the southwest outskirts of Beijing. Jiuxiang Scenic Area is called the village of karst caves. There are more than one hundred karst caves in JiuXiang scenic resort. The stalactites in the caves take on many forms and shapes in different colours. Found in the caves are numerous natural bridges, valleys, rivers and waterfalls, which constitute a wonderful subterranean world.

In the morning you will make a visit to the famous Stone Forest Scenic Area. Later you will visit Seven-color Yunnan on your way back to Kunming. On your arrival back at Kunming you will go to pray at Nancheng Mosque.
Stone Forest is a notable set of karst formations located in Shilin Yi Autonomous County, Yunnan Province, approximately 120 kilometres from the provincial capital Kunming. The tall rocks seem to emanate from the ground in the manner of stalagmites, with many looking like petrified trees thereby creating the illusion of a forest made of stone. Since 2007, two parts of the site, the Naigu Stone Forest and Suogeyi Village have been UNESCO World Heritage Sites as part of the South China Karst.
Kunming Nancheng Mosque
The Nancheng Mosque is the largest mosque in Kunming, the mosque was constructed during the Tang Dynasty and continued to be renovated and reconstructed through the Qing Dynasty. The mosque's design reflects that of Chinese temples due to the Buddhist culture.

Shenzhen Dameisha and Xiaomeisha Trip

Located on the shore of Dapeng Bay in Yantian District of Shenzhen, Dameisha and Xiaomeisha are two excellent bathing beaches which maintain stunning coastal scenery. They are the favoured recreational spot for locals keen to make the most of their holidays amid lush, tropic scenery and fresh air. One principal difference between Dameisha and Xiaomeisha is that it is free of charge to travel Dameisha. However, there is a 20 RMB admission charge to Xiaomeisha Beach.

Xiaomeisha, which has the notable name of "Oriental Hawaii", is surrounded by green mountains on three sides, with one side facing the sea. At the edge of the sea the sandy beach is like a crescent set between the blue sky and the vast ocean. This beach, resplendent with multicolored umbrellas, stretches for 1,000 meters (about 0.6 miles) and is noted for its clean bathing water.
Out to sea yachts run before the wind giving up white spray, while motorboats and parachutes may also be seen. Comparing to Xiaomeisha, visitors usually love to visit Dameisha for it's free to visit. China is one of the countries that boast to have the richest and largest bamboo sources in the world, thus also known as "The Kingdom of Bamboo". Along the thousand years of history since ancient times, bamboo has been playing an important role in Chinese daily life and now it has become an unique culture with profound meaning.
Archaeologists have proved Chinese started using bamboo around 7000 years ago, weapons like arrows and darts, and some other enterainment tool, all made from bamboos.Poems and literatures about bamboos are many. The famous poet Sushi from Song dynasty once said, I would rather eat every meal without meat than live in a house not built with bamboos. This could be a great evidence showing what bamboo means in people's life, both materially and spiritually.
You might wonder, why Chinese love those green sticks that much? When they see bamboo, they see beyond the looks. Bamboo is tough, straight and unyielding, always green whether it's sunny spring or snowy winter. Anji Bamboo Seas is located in Anji county of Zhejiang pronvince, covering an area of more than 6 milion square meters. The tallest bamboo could reach up to 13 meters, weighted as 120kg or so, regarded as the King of Bamboo. There is a giant rock at the entrance of the tourists zone, which was once used for Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

Walking through the quiet bamboo forests, with gentle breeze brushing on the face, my chaos mind studdenly is at peace now. No worries at the moment. I take a deep breath, taking it all in. Want to slide above the forests? You got it. All you need to do is to buy a ticket for ropeway then you adventure is all set. Sliding fast or slow, it's all up to you. Be careful in case you might hit some eagles. Besides bamboo forests, you can also visit the Bamboo Culture Museum and Movie set base, or have a nice meal in the locals.
